BAO Color Challenge
The latest Color Challenge for the Bead Art Originals team was copper, deep red and gold. Thank you, Katie of Texas U.S for your suggestion! I love this warm combination of colors! Check out the BAO blog and see what other members of the group created for this challenge.

Gold and Pink, Bollywood Style
New embroidered pink and gold cuff with Swarovski crystals. Inspired by beautiful embroidered dress image I came across on the internet while browsing, once again, gorgeous India designs in fashion and jewelry.

Gem Stones Free Form Bracelet
I bought these gold Toho 3-cut 8/0 seed beads from The Bead Parlor (yes, they do ship outside the US, thanks again, Shelly!) and I was very pleased to discover that they sparkle even more than in the photos. They are gorgeous! The 3-cut shape gives them extra shine and a very nice texture, too.
The first idea I came up with of what to use them for was an oriental design. I though that August's birthstone Peridot, Carnelian, Garnet and Amethyst gem stone beads would make a nice combination with the bright gold.

Beads Gone Wild
I'm a bit late on posting this, but there's still time for visiting the EBW June Challenge and picking your favorite! There are 20 beautiful entries, so hurry up and vote!
I created this asymmetrical necklace for the current EBW Challenge "Humor".
The idea of this necklace was to create a totally different look on each side of it. On one side, there are round, "innocent" pearls and on the other it's like the beads gone wild and turned into colorful flowers.
I was so busy and a little troubled lately, that I completely forgot about the monthly challenge. I then came up with this idea only a day before the deadline, but didn't listed it on time so couldn't enter the challenge voting. Anyway, I like the summery, cheerful look of this necklace.. Now I have to think of an idea for the next challenge "Here Comes the Bride", picked by Miriam of Cielo Designs, the winner of May challenge.
I have an early idea for this one, and I have two weeks to try to work on it, so I am optimistic.. :)

Golden Cubes Bracelet
It was fun making this one, but so hard to photograph! The photos here, even when taken with a contrasting dark background, don't really show how this bracelet is sparkling.
It is made with beautiful light gold AB 1.5mm cube beads (they're actually more like 2mm). The closing consists of a square golden button and a loop of 24k gold 15/0 seed beads. Very simple, but I like it! :)
